Why should you optimize your quality control?
Robiscan has been used by several major OEM’s worldwide for over 10 years. It is characterized by highest reliability and compliance with all common standards. Thanks to the special script language, it can be flexibly adapted to a wide variety of tasks and individual requirements. A special feature is the inspection of unpainted surfaces, e.g. sheet metal. These are usually more difficult to inspect than painted surfaces. But early inspection can save even more costs. Our solutions range from the complete inspection of entire car bodies with several robots to steel lamellas at up to 20parts/s.
How do we recognize every mistake?
Automation W+R has been focusing on surface inspection for 40 years. We develop our own special detection methods. With this, we push the limits of what is technically feasible and can thus detect even the smallest defects such as dents/dents, scratches, notches,… more reliably. To inspect the seam, the inspection head is guided along the seam after the actual welding process. At the same time, Robiscan® captures the images in real time and evaluates them. Thus, shortly after the end of the scan, the result is ready for further processing. It reliably detects even the smallest defects such as pores or spatters (up to 50µm) while at the same time minimizing the pseudo defect rate (up to 0.004%).
