Automation W+R GmbH (hereinafter also referred to as “we” or “us”) respects your right to data protection and hereby provides transparent information about the collection, processing, and use of your personal data on our website www.automationwr.de.

The use of our website is generally possible without providing personal data. Where personal data is collected (e.g., name, email address, address), this is always done on a voluntary basis, wherever possible.

General Data Processing

Each time our website is accessed, data is automatically stored in log files on our server. This includes:

  • IP address (anonymized for analysis purposes)
  • Internet service provider

This data is processed exclusively to ensure the operation of the website, fix errors, and improve our services. The data is not combined with personal data from other sources.

Storage period: 7 days (log files), then anonymized for statistical purposes.


Contact Forms and Brochure Requests

If you fill out forms on our website for contact purposes, service requests, or brochure requests, the following data is collected:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • If applicable: company, address, or telephone number
  • Message text or requested information

Purpose of processing: Handling your request, sending information materials, or providing services.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent for additional voluntary information).
Recipients: Internal departments only (processing under Art. 28 GDPR).
Storage period: Personal data from contact, service, or brochure requests is deleted once the purpose has been fulfilled, unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage.


Newsletter (Brevo)

We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to send our newsletter.

Data collected:

  • Email address
  • Optional: first name and last name for personalization

Purpose: Sending information about products, services, and events.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Processor: Brevo; a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
Storage period: As long as you are subscribed to the newsletter or until deletion after unsubscribing.

Unsubscribing: Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe option. Alternatively, you may email us at info@automationwr.de. Data will be deleted within 48 hours.


Cookies and Tracking
